Beard Transplantation

A beard or mustache transplantation may be needed as a result of hormonal disorders and genetic structure, or as a result of various skin diseases such as wounds and burns. Patients who need beard transplantation due to hormonal disorders, genetic disorders, wounds, burns or various skin diseases as a result of diseases such as Alpecia Autoimmune, have completed adolescence and have completed the minimum age of 25, hormonal and metabolic diseases. Various tests are performed on our patients who apply to our clinic to have a forehead transplant, first to decide whether there is circulation in that area or not. As a result of these tests, if there is a blood flow or symptoms that will feed the roots to be planted in the area that needs planting, the planting process is started.

How is Beard Transplantation Performed?

Loss of sensation of the patient is provided by local anesthesia of the donor area. With the help of micro motor and special punch, the roots we need for beard transplantation are separated from the tissue one by one and collected with the help of special sterile surgical forceps. The extracted roots are kept in cold tissue waiting fluids to wait for the root canal opening process. The beard and mustache channels in the horizontal directions are opened with a sapphire (diamond tip) in order for the patient to have the most suitable beard and mustache line to look natural. In an operation whose channel opening process is completed, the hair follicles, which are kept in liquids, are planted one by one by our experienced team members according to the direction of the opened channels.
